RAINBOWDANCE

Nick is one of a few certified trainers in this evidence-based expressive arts therapy for children aged 2-7.

Developed by Dicki Johnson Macy (M.Ed., LMHC, BC-DMT) and the Boston Children’s Foundation in 1988, this easy to learn intervention fosters the universal emotional and social skills necessary for thriving children.

These include:

competency, mastery, security,

the overcoming of challenges,

and the ability to relate to others.

It accomplishes this growth by targeting and developing the three qualities that are essential for early childhood mental health and learning: Self-Esteem, Self-Regulation, and Social Empathy.

Rainbowdance has been implemented in a variety of international settings with children with diverse needs. It  ties in  directly with Common Core, "Talk, Read, Sing," increases literacy, and is available in multiple languages.
